Let's get together and fill those boxes for spring! Join us for a fun day of food, friendship, and fly tying. There will be something for tyers of all levels, from those who have never tied a fly, to members with many years of tying experience. Come along, learn something new, and enjoy a day of fly tying with your fellow PVFF anglers. Coffee in the morning to get you going, and a pizza lunch to keep you fueled for the afternoon.
We're hosting an exciting tying event on Saturday, March 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church (Room 207), and we'd love to see you there regardless of your experience level.
What We're Offering:
New to fly tying? We'll have expert instructors teaching a few basic patterns from scratch. Just bring yourself - we'll provide materials and guidance.
Want to tackle a challenging pattern? Bring materials for a fly you've been struggling with or have always wanted to try. Our experienced tiers will circulate to help you work through it.
Need help with specific techniques? We'll have dedicated instruction on techniques members request - things like dubbing, whip finishing, parachute posts, or wing construction.
Refreshments: coffee in the morning, and pizza lunch.
