Beginner Fly Tying - Orange Palmer Dry Fly
By Don Fine
Having had July and August off for our class to enjoy some fly fishing, we will resume beginner fly tying meetings on September 16th at 7 p.m., at Trinity United Methodist Church, 703 West Patrick St. in Frederick.
That evening our beginner class will be tying the Orange Palmer Dry Fly. In doing so, the attendees will learn several new tying skills, which are applicable to a very broad selection of fly patterns for freshwater fish species.
Whether you are a member of PVFF or not, we welcome you to join us that evening. PVFF supplies all materials for our Beginner’s Fly Tying classes, and we have tying vises and tools available for those who are just getting into the “joys” and “rewards” of tying artificial flies.
Please contact Don Fine, if you plan to attend. Knowing how many participants will be attending ensures that we have ample amounts of tying materials for each class.
