In November, 2020, club members enjoyed a great presentation from Michael Kashiwagi, Western II Regional Fisheries Manager with the Maryland Department of Natural Resources. He discussed coldwater resources in Frederick County. The Maryland DNR Freshwater Fisheries Service has been working to compile information on coldwater aquatic organisms across the state. Michael provided an overview of coldwater community monitoring and efforts to protect and restore these unique ecosystems.
