As you know, we are interested in starting a Project Healing Waters Program at Fort Detrick. At our last meeting, David Folkerts discussed what is involved and needed from the club to make this happen.
We are having a follow-up meeting next Wednesday, May 30th @ 7:00pm for anyone that is interested in the program. The meeting will be at Trinity United Methodist Church in room 109.
George Gaines, from Project Healing Waters, will be there to answer any questions that you may have and provide any additional information about what is involved. George would be our PHW coordinator. To make this happen, we need several volunteers so the other goal of the meeting would be to identify a possible Program Lead and Program Assistants. Plus, it would be great to know what you would be interested in contributing to the team, such as fly tying or fly casting instruction.
