It’s picnic time! As in the past, this year’s annual picnic will take place on PVFF’s home waters: Catoctin Creek Park and Nature Center (2929 Sumantown Rd, Middletown).
Gather at 4 p.m. to participate in the fishing contest; the categories this year are biggest fish and most fish (with no restriction on the number or types of flies).
We’ll also have some other fun contests so come and join the fun. The contest this year will be fly casting for accuracy and speed; feel free to bring your own rig or use a loaner rod.
At 6 p.m. we’ll have hamburgers, hot dogs, and friendship. Burgers and dogs are furnished. Members are encouraged to bring chips and desserts, but you are also welcome empty handed. This is always a fun event, so bring your family and friends and come enjoy good food and good company. Questions? Contact us.
